Jenphar has its legacy from Julphar Bangladesh Limited which was a subsidiary of Julphar UAE, one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in the Middle East and Africa. In a strategic move to expand its life-saving drug business, Radiant assimilated Julphar Bangladesh Limited, the 11-year old pharmaceutical company, into Radiant Business Consortium Limited on July 13, 2020, and subsequently renamed it Jenphar Bangladesh Limited with the approval of the Office of the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies & Firms on September 29, 2021.
