Candidates should have strong skills in community mobilization, capacity building, and inclusive project implementation. Proven experience working with vulnerable and marginalized groups is essential.
The candidate should be adept at data collection and monitoring, with a demonstrated ability to address community concerns and grievances.
A deep understanding of gender equality, social inclusion, and gender-based violence is required.
The successful candidate must be able to collaborate effectively with local authorities to ensure smooth project implementation and should be skilled in fostering partnerships with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is preferred.
Experience with Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), as well as established networks or collaborations with union or Upazila level administration and like-minded organizations, is highly preferred.
Candidates must hold a valid motorbike driving license and be willing to stay at the Union/Upazila level with frequent travel to remote areas.
The candidate should also possess a strong understanding of safe guarding policies, including child protection, gender, and anti-sexual harassment standards.

Responsibilities & Context
DASCOH Foundation is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Field Facilitator for its project titled ‘Environmental Human Rights for a Just Transition: Strengthened Local CSOs Transforming Climate Hotspots into Resilient Communities (ENGAGE). This project will be implemented in Tanore and Godagari Upazila of Rajshahi district and Manda and Mohadebpur Upazila of Naogaon district. The project is being implemented in collaboration with other NGOs in 6 districts having NETZ Bangladesh as the lead organisation. European Union (EU) is financially supporting the project. The Position will be available from 1 April 2025 to 31 December 2028. The detailed eligibility requirements of the position as mentioned below:
Job descriptions/Responsibilities:
Properly formation of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) at village, Union, Upazila and District level.
Organise and facilitate regular monthly meeting of CSOs at village level and bi-monthly and quarterly meetings at Upazila and District level and follow-up the action plan of CSOs.
Capacity building of CSOs by organising and facilitating training on conflict sensitive human rights-based approach, Environmental Human Rights at the nexus of climate change, Gender Based Violence (GBV), and community mobilisation, participatory monitoring and reporting etc.
Organise spouse meeting, information fair, road show campaign on RTI, public events on rights and governance issues.
Support to CSOs and student forums for developing their plans, activism and grassroots advocacy.
Support to the HR violence survivors and provide rapid response support.
Organise a conflict sensitive democratic dialogue meetings of CSOs and Local Authorities (Las) at union, Upazila and District level.
Assist to organise significant public events.
Organise stage street theatre performances.
Document the projects learnings, monthly qualitative and quantitative achievements, challenges and prepare periodic reports as per project requirements.
